Police and Community Program

The Police and Community Program is part of the Citizen Engagement and Reform Communication Program (CERC), implemented by the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) in partnership with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) and with the financial support of the Law Enforcement Section (INL) of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. The program aims to build fruitful cooperation between the police and those whom it protect and work for, in particular by organizing meetings between local police and the public in libraries and other public platforms.

The Police and Community Program has been successfully implemented in Chernivtsi, Khmelnytsky, Sumy, Ternopil, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Rivne and Zhytomyr.

It is planned to launch the program in Boryspil, Kremenchuh, KryvyiRih, Lutsk, Poltava and Kherson.
