It is the innovative project on the police-community cooperation on the basis of partnership "Agriteam" (CPIF) operating in Kramatorsk and Slovyansk.
Within the framework of the project, the coordinating council for road safety improvement was established in Kramatorsk and Slovyansk. The representatives of local self-government, patrol police, NGOs, local residents and lawyers are among the fifteen members of the council. The task of the council is to monitor the security status and make recommendations to local government bodies.
Ten public lectures about road safety and road traffic rules were given to schoolchildren. The format was the educational lectures and game exercises involving the police, moderators and schoolchildren.
Several round tables were also held. As a result, a common action plan for the public, police and local government bodies on improving road safety and pedestrian safety in the towns of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk was adopted.
